I am over the moon with my latest CRP reading (CPR in UK?)
10.9 down from 15 something last month.
Back in Feb when I had my last rheumy appt, she told me we couldn't expect a low reading due to my obesity. I have looked back at a CRP reading I had pre PMR in April 2014, it was 5.3! I will make sure to tell her when I see her again in a few months.
I did quite a bit (for me) of gardening a couple of days ago, in 20 minute slots with an hour in between to recover my back. I did this on 2 consecutive days. On the final day I did a 1/2mg drop to 7.5mg. Hmm.....I don't think I'll be doing that for a while. I am feeling much better now...but will wait another couple of days before attempting the next bit.
I've been wearing my Fitbit, as I'd noticed my activity levels were higher. On one of the gardening days I did 7665 steps! Nearly 5km. I shall be showing this to my Dr next time I see him as I am pretty sure he thinks I sit on my derriere all day. Even on my 'dragging myself around days' I can do 5000 steps just around the house, back and forth to the chickens and often (as today) still in my PJ's.
We have 70kph gusts due this afternoon.....you'd never know it looking at the still trees!
Bonne bank holiday weekend you UK peeps. We have ours on 8th May (VE day).
