Pepcid AC and inflammation

I have pmr/gca for 8+ years. recently taken off Pepcid AC. Developed bad arthritis pain in elbow, nape of neck, feet. Went back on Pepcid AC. symptoms are waning., Is Pepcid anti-inflammatory?

Some rather old work has suggested that H2 inhibitors may have an effect on inflammation, especially together with other antiinflammatory medications, in some forms of arthritis and in the early 1980s it was suggested they should be investigated. They may reduce joint pain in arthritis - so is it entirely sure you have PMR rather than LORA (for example)?
