Is there any back support for pmr
Back pain: Is there any back support for pmr - PMRGCAuk
Back pain
A rolled up towel or blanket, to support the base of your spine when you sit. Is that what you mean? Where’s the trouble and what are you doing at the time?
Sorry, don't understand what you mean?
Apart from rolled towel or cushion there are various lumbar rolls and other supports, also upper back correction braces.
Best ask a Physio
Its probably a good idea to check that you don't have any other physical/medical indications that could be causing it - [other than PMRI]
I suddenly started having chronic sacro iliac pain several months ago and no alternatives did much to help -physio/bowen/massage etc. Depending what exactly is causing it [I have osteoporosis which doesn't help] it might be worth your while checking the Complete Care Shop on line. I ordered a Harley Gentle Form support girdle and it has helped a lot, there are a number of quite narrow girdles but they tend to ride up and end up round the top of the rib cage which is not helpful, so the deeper ones [around 18 cm deep] work better. N.B. I ordered a small size as I am only size 10 but had to exchange it for medium as it was too small. They are not cheap at circa £25 and don't actually clear the backache but do give relief and support. I don't use it all day but for times when you have to be on your feet, walking, sitting at a desk I find it really helps.
Just a thought
