Anybody got twitching of the eyes??? My right eye has been twitching, intermittently, for a couple of hours, for some weeks now. alida

On 1 mg prednisone now almost two hrs pmr. And yes, still tired!!

My left eye has twitched on and off since my early 20’s. Severely at times of little sleep, night duty, babies....and extreme stress.

So for me nothing to do with PMR, pred, whatever dose, or reducing doses.

For some people it can be a sign of Vit B6 deficiency, so a supplement might help. Try 50 to 80mg. If your level was low, you will start to get vivid dream recall.

If it continues, see GP in case anything untoward is going on.

Thanks that s great... I thought it could be vit d 12 deficiency, se I ate those, no change. I will try B6. I personally do not feel it is anything bad, just a little nuisance... but “us” PMR people have lots of those!!!! All the best, Alida

Just had one twitchy eye which was around for over a week, googled and it could be tiredness or meds. Other eye has been intermitently fuzzy vision. Anyway stopped bladder meds and stopped amitryptiline. Twitchy eye ceased but fuzzy vision in other eye remains, so am adding to list for my dr appointment this week. Google does say if twitchy eye persists for over a week to tell dr.

Nothing helpful to add except it happens and usually when my eyes are tired. Linked to muscle weakness maybe?

Ditto to SJ - I get this intermittently then it disappears. My GP once told me it was about fatigue - and we all know about THAT !! It's probably nothing to worry about but you may want to check on it down the track if it persists - as it can be quite annoying ...

I have a twitchy eye also. It's an indictor that I'm tired. Goes away pretty quickly. Annoying though isn't it?
