At this point in my life I have spent a lot more yrs in the US than I did growing up in UK. Such a beautiful pic of my old homeland. Thx.

Flat area on the top G lots of dogs & rabbit droppings. Well known for snow sledging down to the golf course beyond the toposcope.

Great for some fresh air and a good walk Pepper x

Yes it is. After a misty start here a sunny canal amble this morning with the birdies singing. Concentrating fishermen saying hello mate & looking up! Some days are like that aren't they!

Gotta be careful not to overdo it but my ticker needs the exercise too! So make hay while the sun shines!

Definitely it's light & sunshine & outdoors that helps me cope mentally! ATB

You certainly have some lovely places to walk to,l have just been having a go on the garden,l only did about four metres pulling up weeds along one of the borders,l am absolutely shattered ! I m sure l had more energy last year, this PMR is exhausting,l shall have to do just a little each day.l haven’t had a blood test for over one year now,l used to have one every six months .l will mention this to the receptionist at the surgery and see if there will be some action !Enjoy your weekend everyone xx.

4 metres is a lot of ground weeding G! Can you pack some ground covering perennials in there like hardy geraniums to smother them! Well done you though! You have to have a go but take it steady!.... Sez me!!!

Good idea to push for a blood test if you feel things have altered for yourself.

You enjoy your weekend too.

Went to the garden centre with a friend yesterday, she bought herself some knee pads (neurotic about gardening). Sent me a text at just after midnight (??!!) telling me you can get knee pads with wheels. Conjures up a wonderful picture ......

Blimey! Bit dodgy if the garden slopes!! Whadda you do! Anchor yourself to a tree!!

Thanks for your advice Pepper, there are a few plants in that border, plus a couple of rose bushes, but there were a lot of weeds in imbetween, most of them close to the base of the fence ,they come from next door ! I.am finding bending down seems to make the back of my neck and head ache, plus a numb feeling accross my face.l shall have to visit the GP again.ATB x

G. Best cover over every inch with plants or seeds you prefer! It's a war out there in plantworld! Failing that a hoe is good when it's sunny & hot! Always depends on which weeds you have though!

Gardening perfection is impossible unless you become a slave to it!!! (T.Shirt)

I blame my dad & Geoff Hamilton myself!!

I kept coming back to this picture, it was nagging at me with a memory. And then it came to me - did you ever read the 'Babar and Celeste' tales of elephants? Your pic reminds me of an illustration of the elephant crowd coming over the brow of a hill with just their eyes showing, it must have made a big impression on me as a child!!

Hope you're doing ok PD? Gone a bit quiet. ATB

in reply to Slowdown

Quiet & angry me! Some agenda stuff going on here with warnings! etc! You woke me to reply openly! Thanks!

Never read Baber tales! or watched any.

Blyton "Faraway Tree" myself! Still climbing branches encountering characters in the tree to the passing lands above. The adventures had! Get down that ladder before the land moved on was the usual ending though! Phew! Just in Time! ATB

All quiet on the western front now, I think, PD - better for our delicate systems!

My solution to the 'quiet and angry' was to dig (very slowly) a veg patch - ready for tenants now. Miss your lovely pics, they lift our spirits :-)
