wondering if acupuncture works for pMR

I am curious to find out if anyone has tried acupuncture for the pain.

It may help with any referred pain you get, but sorry it won’t do anything for the PMR itself.

I’ve has it in the past for arthritis - and it does “take the edge off” that, but doesn’t alleviate the pain completely.

I wouldn’t say don’t try it, it may help, but don’t expect a miracle cure!

ACupuncture and chinese massage have been vastly helpful for me. At this time, I am pain free! For first time since diagnosis PMR, 2013. Check it out, give it a chance, see what happens for you. I absolutely advocate for all alternative comfort treatments, from Bowen Therapy, Chiropractic treatment, and now Chinese massage and Acupuncture!

Prednisone is the only treatment offered by medical docs, but all these other forms of treatment compliment and enhance quality of life.

My experience, just sayin...
