I had to start new post for Deer picture

So with a cup of ginger peach tea n sitting in a comfy chair watching mama’s n teens looking for something to graze on. I saw one at first and then they just kept on coming. I tell you what it is indescribable how it makes you feel. I have been so blessed with different places I have lived. BUT this one is my topper of all places. It suits me in my downtime with Pmr.

Wow 😍 I get excited when the goldfinches come to the bird feeder. Pales into insignificance by comparison.

in reply to Hollyseden

No I don’t think it pales at all. I am a birder since my twenties and I just got a local list of birds. It is huge. I saw a bald eagle cruising above the river. Then it took me some time to identify but had a turtle dove on the post out front. They are way not common so I am assuming someone had turtle doves in their wedding n let them go. I think all critters are exciting to see.

Very true. Saw a flock of geese recently. My brother reckoned there were at least 200. What an amazing noise as they came in to land on the lake.

That’s a wonderful sight Lin. I also love the birds and once when walking through a paddock in western Queensland a huge flock of budgerigars rose from the ground. I was so excited as had only seen them in cages. 🕊

in reply to Meggsy

Now that would have been a sight. My only pet as a child was a budgie she lived about 13 yrs. pretty blue n yellow.

in reply to Hollyseden

I had a small man made lake behind my mobile home. When the geese would land it was a sight. What was even cooler was when they would all start honking at the same time and then they would turn in unison and flap like no tomorrow to clear the houses what a fun ruckus.

Lovely picture. ☃️❄️

If you look past the houses you will see my mountains I had no idea they were even there let alone that close. I moved here in the dark and was floored when I came out of grocery and saw them. Talk about exciting.

I was brought up near big hills, always more comfortable when surrounded by hills and mountains. 😊

I was brought up near little hill (relatively speaking at least!) and now I am living the dream in the Dolomites :)

Oh Lin it just must do your heart good. You deserve to be blessed, you’ve suffered so much and yet always manage to come up smiling.

in reply to SheffieldJane

Sheffieldjane to be totally honest I LOVE IT.... I might be naive but this is the first place I feel safe by myself. The people are way past friendly I made two nice friends at the pharmacy for crying out loud. I had someone beating down my door today wanting to know why I missed church. I already need a break hehehe... thank you for being you.

Really happy for you and inspired at how you attract good things to come to you!

in reply to SheffieldJane

I don’t do anything ..... someone told me once I was a manifester. I simply laughed and told her it is so much easier to simply let God fulfill the desires of my heart. It works well for me and the proof is plain to see, if we look of course. I would not want to take credit for the things the Lord does for me. That would make me foolish and silly. Ok so I am both of those ...... but you know what I mean.

How is Ron Lin? I hope that he is doing well. ❤️

in reply to SheffieldJane

Yikes! I almost missed your question. So many responses by so many lovely people.

Ron is doing great and finished his cardiac rehab and is back to work. Now come Monday it will be round 2 for them as his wife Dee Dee (Best daughter in law ever) is having surgery finally on her back. It will be very intensive as it is a nasty one. Was cancelled earlier for his open heart so poor dear has had a time of it.

I feel bad not being there but my limits would end up being another burden. Back surgeries can be great or go very wrong.

Thanks for remembering.

Today I was rearranging my bedroom slash studio to see if painting in there would be nice. It is a bit tight but when I finally sat down I had a great view of the creek from across the room. Who knew ...

I sure hope my hands read my brain better. I used to paint all the time but recently the gift seems to be on hold. Well never give up I say. I love to paint this photo n make it a log cabin and chuck the van hehehe.😸🤪

Great to have you back again, and as Jane says after all you have been through it's great to see you landed on your feet. The wild life sounds amazing - nothing heals like nature!

How lovely. Doesn’t nature have a gift for lifting the heart. I watched a long-tailed tit cruising round a crabapple tree this morning looking for aphids. So sweet! X

Lovely. Did you know that one of the collective nouns for a group of deer is "gang"?

Divine! What a sight to take in.

We used to get them razing in the back of our land in Northern New Brunswick. My kids loved to see them come and “visit”.

It is so simple yet thrills us so deep.
