Such a beautiful picture! Hot and humid here! Would love some of that cool crisp air to drift this way. πŸ™‚

Yes the air was beautiful and the sunshine was a great treat for January. Quite cold 4Β° but we were dressed for it. Where are you?

πŸ˜“ we actually had a quite warm summer last year, even in Scotland! Nothing like temperatures you get but jeezo heat does not go well with pred. I remember the head sweats yuk. You have my sympathy.

No drama Sheffieldjane 😊 In another post, I mentioned I'd been in Keswick last week and pepperdoggie said had stayed at a campsite near there. I couldn't add photo to that thread so had to start another showing lovely blue sky...... and confuse people πŸ˜†

Yes Scotland is beautiful too. The Trossachs are less than an hour away from us. Love the Lake District though because so many beautiful places so close to each other. Spoilt for choice of walks there.

Yes she did a lot for her beloved Lake District. Have walked to Far Sawrey many times. Also took my grandchildren to see the Beatrix Potter museum in Bowness (that's my story, did it for the children) πŸ˜‹

Stunning! Holly. What a great picture. Thanks for that. Only just caught up with the post.

Great walks & scrambling crammed into many fri/sun trips years ago. How the hell did I get into work Monday morning! ATB

Ah the good old days of scrambling eh 😊 Not that I ever did that. Long walks were always enough for me in the lovely Lakes.

β€’ in reply toHollyseden

Scrambling of a different sort for me these days!

Best thing ever to clear the mind some of those views of the Lakes & beyond.
