Polymyalgia and Pulmonary Fibrosis

Does anyone know if there is a link between the above diseases and/or if Polymyalgia can stir up stable pulmonary fibrosis?

If you google your title you will find a few links mentioning both. This is one:

and they say it can be a very rare manifestation.

Do you have pulmonary fibrosis? If so, did you have long before PMR?

I was diagnosed in 2014 with Pulmonary Fibrosis and it stabilised from 2015 until this last month which coincided with a flareup of PMR. which is why I am wondering if there is a connection.

Yes - but how long ago were you told you had PMR?

Mind you - I have atrial fibrillation which I started to notice without knowing what it was about the same time as PMR symptoms appeared. This year it has become patently obvious that it is closely allied to the PMR. PMR flares - a/f gets worse. Only thing that really calms it down is more pred than I need for the muscular stuff. Bit of a b*%%"* really...
