Another good' un with eye consultant. Eye's looking ok. Plus prescription for dry eyes. Heaving waiting area but flowed well! Busy the NHS is !!

Rhuemy Report. Reading between the lines! Very encouraging & trusting me to get on with it! Steroid reduction main driver!!

Next one up! Heart Failure Clinic!!!

See where this one's going!! Heavy clamp on my drinking arm! I fear!

The Beauty of it ALL!!.

Another difficult day over and done with, one more ticked off the list, and no more bad news. Well done.

My dad had heart failure for years it needn't be too bad so fingers crossed for good news.

They tell me a cup of tea is quite good.......... I wouldn't know of course!

I have dexa next week, at last, there's always something to look forward to!

Drink lots of tea scats I Think it should be researched more seriously!!

All the best with the dexa scan. Open mind with next adventure but see how it go's!

My GP got me to have a heart failure test recently as I have got fluid retention from the steroids and she wanted to ensure everything was OK.

in reply topiglette

Didn't know there was a specific test! Other than Echo. The diagnosis could be one of a number of things! Mine is "Left Ventricular Dysfunction". I Have Atrial Fib. also.

Ankle fluid retention has gone down as the steroids have reduced & a stone heavier than when starting. Looks like a dry Christmas! See the train coming!! ATB

Yours sounds much more complicated than mine. I had a BNP blood test. I also had a chest X-ray and CT scan but I don’t think that was for heart failure. The idea of a dry Christmas does not sound that good!

in reply topiglette

Sure doesn't! Have to see how it goes at the clinic! As my school reports said "I could do better!!"

Ta! The photo was taken 2 days ago. 2nd time it's flowered. The white ones are also in flower again. Chopped them down in the early hot Summer.

Age, age, age, isn’t it fun?

Dunno! I'm in total denial!! Can't understand why the old buggers want to talk to me as though I'm one of them!!!

I remember my father in law at 76 saying “I feel 26 in my thoughts but my body is on a different page”.

in reply toConstance13

My body is in a different book some days! And as for the thoughts!! Well!!
