He's Gonna be Stiff Come Morning

Aged 72 and diagnosed PMR/GCA just over 4 months ago; slowly reducing Pred from 40mg currently on 22.5 - 20 mg daily and the man spends 3½ hours crawling with a group of lamp (miners' or cavers types) enthusiasts through ancient copper mines; some progress was made in upright position but much on all fours.

Yes indeed!

He's greatly into Miners' Lamps and also has umpteen epistles on various types of mining. Generally his collection of lamps instigates lass exertion than his other (small) collection of classic tractors which require maintainance and, in the show/rally season, loading on and off trailers.

Tractors under wraps for the winter but i'm somewhat apprehensive re next show season when he'll be on the lower doses of Pred.
