I imagine it is much the same as the algorithm the call handlers at 111 OOH services use. Might not be worse than some doctors...
All depends on the programmer, remember rubbish in, rubbish out! I do like the idea that dogs can diagNOSE by smell and you can be sure they are not driven by profit.

My doctor is almost there anyway, she consults the computer with the symptoms and comes up with what I've googled. So the new system will be cutting out the middle man/woman/gender unspecified, oh god let me out of here!
