BLUE KNEES

Has anyone noticed blue knees? I was particularly stiff in my hips this morning and in the shower noticed both my knees were very blue. Colour has returned to normal now I've got moving. Is it a PMR or Pred effect or something else, or nothing?

Sounds a bit like poor blood fow to the area - but I have no idea why it should be,

Hi

I've had a thought. I had the flu jab on Saturday. My arm feels very bruised and I feel cold ( blue knees?) tho Hubbie says I'm hot. Also the PMR type stiffness and aches are unusual for me recently. Could it be a reaction to the jab?

Morning. Glad to report that symptoms have all abated, so it looks like it was a flu jab reaction. At least it's not the start of something as I go to hospital in 5 days for my hip replacement.

I have had blue feet - mention it though as it is unusual for you.

So do I, also blue fingers from time to time. I attribute it to circulatory problems

Not blue knees, hubby has purple feet and legs but he has bad circulation related to his heart. I would mention it next time you see your doctor.
