I wondered whether Gok Wan had anything to do with this, obviously not! I'm quite well up on text short forms as I have two teenage granddaughters and a niece but hadn't heard of this one before, not an expression the youngsters use I suppose.

Sorry if I caused offence DL, partly why I didn’t write in full. I was trying to make a point about managing tiny tablets when the sizes and box colours change. I actually try to be PC because I regard it as an extension of good manners and kindness.

No offence to me! Heaven forbid😉🤣😂. I was married to a serving soldier for a heck of a long time and worked for MOD for about 30years; not a lot offends me. I know you said you once imagined me as Miss Marple - but I can assure you I’m not!

Years ago, long before PMR, I had a strange bump on my wrist. Having ruled out all the obvious causes, my then GP said that it was what professionals called a Gok. But I was told not to worry 'as Goks usually go away pretty quickly.' I've wondered since what would have happened if a patient hadn't realised he wasn't entirely serious.
