Yes. Mine was manufactured by Camber which was not on the list. (The New York Times lists) However, when I called them they said theirs was safe, but they were going to recall it anyway. I’m in the process of trying to beat the crowd and have them dispense me some from the ‘good’ list. Time consuming process. I might be too late.

I've just checked it out, it appears that any blood pressure drugs containing Valspartan can be carcinogenic.

I think the truth is, there is a very tiny amount - you'd have to take a lot of pills alll your life for it to matter!

Thanks. That’s reassuring as I’ve elected to keep taking it. I was offered a switch to Losarta n. But I go in at the end of the month anyway. I’ll sit on it & wait.

I only know of 2. Valsartan itself and Valsartan with hydrochlorothizide. (A lot of meds come with the latter.)

I didn't even bother checking if mine was on the list , I just switched to another med... There are tons of them on the market.

Exactly. Since you will probably have to anyway - there will be a shortage of the "clean" versions of the recalled one.
