Hope it all goes well. In UK the NHS has decided to stop doing carpal tunnel procedures unless a very good reason is given along with around seventeen other procedures including steroid injections for back pain.

Best wishes and good luck, but just to let you know, I have had the operation on both hands/wrists and the relief was fantastic, well worth getting it done.

Best wishes, you'll be pleased with the results it's instant - I had both mine done at the same time and as long as you've got good pain relief - remember to elevate your arm immediately following surgery - they should put it on one of those stands, raised pillows aren't usually enough - as I'd had both done only one arm got elevated, couldn't find a second stand at the time and I didn't know it mattered - the elevated one was pain free but the other.......as soon as told them it was elevated and the pain went like magic - you'll be able to use your arm but do as physio says and no lifting for at least six weeks or until they advise.... don't know where you are but here in UK they've pulled the funding for CT.

Hi all

Carpal tunnel surgery went very well. Post op 6 days now. Very little pain.. only needed 1 Tylenol xtra strength 500 mg post op. A couple more throughout the week. No opioids needed. Pred stayed the same at 8 mg pre and post. No flare thank goodness.

Will post again in a month or so for total results. So far so good! Hi and thank you to all. Have a great week!
