If you are aching and struggling with the heat - think twice about reducing.

You & me too!!! Absolutely Identical symptoms. But we fight on!!

Too hot for croquet & tired Thursday afternoon, Friday shattered but had tickets for the Chicago Blues Brothers so went, danced - of course- and woke up with sore legs Saturday morning. Went to the market & supermarket. Drove home & realised I’d left the fruit & veg at the market stall 😱, so had to drive back and get it. sat on the kitchen floor & cried when trying to clear & re-load my under the counter fridge. Damm thing is going! I can’t stand the grunting and groaning every time I look for something in it anymore. I kept dropping things all day and finally ended the day clearing honey out of my handbag because for some inexplicable reason I’d put a honeycomb I’d bought in the market in there instead of my shopping bag 😱. A real pred brain day!!! So yesterday evening played bowls for the first time with OH despite sore legs, just because it was a lovely evening and because I want to have a life despite PMR not because of it. Sat on a chair when I wasn’t actually bowling. Everyone very supportive. Worth it for the treat of a Peroni in the evening sunshine afterwards. Crawled into bed last night & right shoulder hurt this morning - probably due to lobbing a heavy wooden ball up and down a piece of grass last night!

Feeling ok now lying on the sofa watching repeats of The West Wing on Sky. Have just done my first week of more 9.5 than 10 of Pred on DSNS taper. Going to ensure I get more sleep this week & keep travelling the journey. Think I’ll give myself another week of 10, 9.5,9.5, 10, 9.5,9.5, 10 this week.

Hope you continue to “think you can” and continue to manage to taper down. We fight on. Here’s to bowling! Xx

Listen to your body Sailormo. Maybe you should try marbles for a while while tapering. 😉
