Mine said it couldn’t get a safe connection. Seems ok now.

Yes me too, said no safe connection to internet.

OMG! Is that your plant... or a Google photo!!!! I'm coming to your garden! ...in the middle of the night! ...with a wheelbarrow! I LOVE succulents and cacti!

in reply to

OK then! Barbed wire! Night ratties & foxes! Wife would fight for her cacti & succulents. Stunning hearing too! Your call! And I don't sleep well either! Are you SAS trained? Be careful I could crush a grape!

in reply to

Hmmmmmm? Still considering my chances? Not SAS trained, but still think I might be pretty quick!

Well, I would be... once my Billy Joel knee heals.

Ohhhh, and I have that knee replacement surgery, I need.

Ahhhhhh, and they sort out the peripheral neuropathy and I can actually "feel," my feet... Yeah, never mind. If you can crush a grape, I'd be juice! ; )

in reply to

There! I had a feeling you were bluffing!!! Believe me you would not enjoy crawling through the bushes with size of the of RATS! Know what you mean with the feet! It's like having someone else's!!

I clicked through the 'non-secure' section (as it was during the outage) on the address bar and followed Certificate notification which said 'invalid' .. looked as though the site is certified through Amazon on a monthly basis, it ran out at 13.00 hrs today. Oops! Obviously now back, never mind a hack attack, I had a panic attack.. where are all my friends!

Thank you! I was afraid to try logging on again. Problem solved thanks to slowdown!

Beautiful plants, we have a boarder of delospermum on the edge of the patio but have to put a mesh over them in the spring or the ****** pidgins dig them up! 🤬

in reply to CT-5012

Ah! The wood pigs wish they'd bugger off to the woods where you never see one! Delospermum. Some beauties there.

I love the little "hens and chicks". Mine grow and spread easily, making gorgeous rosettes. Started with just a couple of small pots.👏🏼

in reply to Purplecrow

Lovely they are. Look good in all sorts of weird containers. The toughies grown on roofs in parts of Europe.

Remember these on the roof of outbuildings at my grandparents', the first time I'd seen them anywhere as a child, can still picture them - I thought they were beautiful...

Oh dear! What an effective identity theft could be achieved with all our outpourings? Of course we make it all up don’t we girls and boys? For instance that’s a good picture from your local botanical gardens. Perhaps report the message. I have just reported a couple.

in reply to SheffieldJane

Do you really live in Sheffield & is your name Jane. Or are you a Robot!!

That would be telling but I do know Tedski.

Oh Pepperdoggie so tempted to post a picture of my astilbes or should I say ex astilbes, water loving plants - must be a good two months since rain, they look like a pile of crisps! Not complaining love the heat! xx

in reply to

They hate the dry weather don't they. Most things are looking frazzled now. Leaves dropping from the trees already here.

Wasn't just me then - from one post to the next it refused to load! How would anyone get my credit card details via HU I wondered?

The worst thing was I couldn't get far enough to report it to the HU help line!!! I assumed it possibly was that someone hadn't put money in the meter ...

Now all I have to do is fight with the most appalling slow wifi. This makes our old landline in Italy look speedy - and "this" is in Seoul, the land of the claimed fastest internet in the world or something: "As of 2017, South Korea had the fastest average internet connection in the world at 28.6 Mbit/s, according to the report State of the Internet published by Akamai Technologies. South Korea's speed is four times faster than the world average of 7.0 Mbit/s."

Not in this university this week! It has taken nearly 5 mins per post to download at times.

in reply to PMRpro

Be quicker by post!!! Or even mule!

How bad was that, no way of contacting anyone! I didn't have to do anything it just came back - as already said the Certificate ran out a 1.00pm yesterday and my PC would not allow access to an invalid site. Never mind, we're back now - can't keep us down for long!
