First Actemra infusion update

I made it! From beginning to end I was at the infusion center for 3 1/2 hours. All went very smoothly and without any reactions.

I am now thankfully on track to reiterate down 10 mgs this Sunday, and if all continues to go well, another 10 mgs in another 2 weeks. My schedule had been to reiterate down 5 mgs every 3 weeks. With that being said, this Sunday I go from 30 mgs to 20, and then 2 weeks later I will be at 10 mgs.

Oh how I hope it continues to go well. Now will watch and see how Medicare goes. Should be interesting.

Good luck CRW-68! With weekly injections it took me about 8 weeks to feel good. Drink lots of water to stay hydrated before and after. Also, be prepared for Pred withdrawal! I had major muscle spasms and some dizziness here and there. Hope you continue to be able to taper.

I hope the doctor slows the taper down from 10mg - your adrenals have the main say then!
