I feel like this photo of my wisteria. Blooming good today. Thank you all for your kind replies. I am great to help with others but get really cross with myself when I'm not feeling on par. Oh the joys of Pred. Best wishes to you all.xx

That's really lovely wisteria! We have a restaurant, in our town, called Wisteria, because of the huge shrub growing on the wall. Glad to hear you feeling better today.

Lovely!

Don't get cross, everybody (even those with good health and seemingly nothing to worry about) get bad days!

Just accept it is what it is, and tomorrow is a new day!

Take care.

Wisteria is lovely. I think it will grow here. How long do the blooms last?

morrison profile image
morrison in reply to HeronNS

Just depends on weather. Windy the last few days so my garden and pond is covered in confetti. But still blooming. X

That is so beautiful Janette! My neighbour inherited a mature Wisteria that grew over our shared wall. I used to look forward to it blossoming every year. The blossom was all on my side. I was away recently and she cut it all back before it could blossom, so there is none on my side. I doubt it will blossom on her side either. I wouldn’t mind so much if she was a keen gardener but the rest of her garden is a neglected mess. 😠

I have bought 4 Wisteria plants to grow up my other wall. They should look good in about 15 years 😂.

Shame you can't buy a mature one. Xx

They grow very quickly. I had to transplant on of two I planted about five feet apart in only three years. Each is now close to ten feet wide and six feet high, growing on stakes. :)

That’s really beautiful. We have a small lemon tree in our conservatory and it’s covered in perfumed blossom. So lovely.

Ah wisteria....thank you for this beautiful picture.

And the best fragrance.

Hope you are feeling better, and can cut yourself slack for being down.

Beautiful. The neighbour has some but it's too far away to smell. Just drink it in.
