Hello Dorset lady and followers I have had to give in and use wheelchair that was supplied to me
The pain after over a year got to me in the end started feeling sick with it not happy it’s come to this but I have tried for how many years I don’t know but I have had to say forget pride and I must say it has been lovely to get from a -b without having that horrible pain and all bent up
I am going to write to pain relief specialist to see what he can suggest although the last time of seeing him he did say there is no more he can do but you never know even if it is a little help it all helps
I hope there are some people out there managing there pain
Take care everyone

I seem to be managing well this week Rusty8 - it makes me feel quite good to be able to say that, but doubly sad that you are in pain. Best wishes.
Hi rusty8
It's a hard decision but hopefully you can get about and enjoy things more once you get there. Each stage of a pain related illness has a hard mobility decision. 🌻🌻
Up date Dorset lady the ramp to enable me to get out of the house is nearly finished it just leaves me with something else to conquer at the moment feeling a bit embarrassed at having to go in wheelchair but I am sure I will get there I know what I would be telling someone else
It would be come on girl get on with there is no shame in having to use a wheelchair so if you go lol will let you know how I get on
Good morning Dorset lady when ramp etc is finished I will let you know how I get on I have been through so much this last year so I’m sure I can get over this last hurdle we’ll i hope it is the last one lol talk to you soon
I “gave in” three years ago so I bought a walking stick. A year later a rollator and last week I had an electromobile delivered. What’s the point of suffering?
I had to resort to a wheelchair, zimmer frame and walking stick. So do not feel you have 'given in'. Needs must when the devil drives.
Now I was told by PMRpro to try Bowen Therapy, I resisted for 18months. It worked for me and I was able to hand back the wheelchair, then hand back the zimmer frame and just use the walking stick.
I am not saying it works for everyone, but three sessions of 1 hour for 3 weeks you and the therapist will know whether it is going to work for you. That is the best thing about Bowen, the therapist will tell you................it is not working for you and that means you do not pay any more.
The NHS in Co Durham, Pain Management Clinic, decided to give them a one year contract to enable them to refer patients. They renewed the contract after that one year............
You did not say why you have given in to the wheelchair.............just curious.
