An interesting article!

So I am always very wary of sharing info or theories regarding possible underlying contributors and causes of PMR. I am not a doctor or a scientist have no medical background but what I did have was PMR,

It’s been a very tough 18 months of pain, fatigue having to give up my job and the Preds!

So I dedicated myself to research, alternative therapies, talking to specialists and reading as much as I could on the subject which I am sure many of you have also done this.

I am sharing this article with you as this is what has worked for me! I am not saying that this will work for others or promoting some miricle cure!! But please read the article. Oxidative Stress in the body causes inflammation causes pain & causes fatigue. Succesfully finding ways to lower my Oxidative Stress has put me on the road to recovery and allowed me to come off my Preds!

I hope that this is helpful to somebody out there. X

Thanks for posting this!

Thank you for this Posr Mariemcdo which I am sure is interesting and I will digest later. How long have you been off the Preds? and do you have any after effects. Please keep the Forum posted. D

It doesn't really say much though - other than stating something that even mainstream medicine has acknowledged for some years and has been looking at. NF-kappaB is a group of substances, some of which are essential to normal functioning of the immune system. Oxidative stress is not always bad, sometimes it repairs things.

How do YOU believe you achieved it?

Hi PMRpro

I focused purely on reducing the inflammation in my body with supplements that are proved to reduce Oxidative Stress in the body having done endless research. I am on my 5th month of supplements just one pill a day and feeling over all much better. Dropped the Preds slowly during the last two months then tried and tested doing without had a couple of wobbles and eventually pred free. Keeping a very close eye on it all and it’s early days but feeling hopeful!
