Thanks for the comments everyone, I can still draw and I’m so glad. I’ve got some difficulties sometimes with fingers and tendons, and some blurry vision but I can usually make it work.

I had my sister and a friend over Sunday to do something fun with art. I taught art before all this. I wanted to do something positive instead of worrying about PMR/GCA all the time. We made some cards with watercolors, pastels, ink stamps... and a word or two about what we wanted....my sister put “frivolity”...in top of her watercolor. A great goal I think!

Of course I felt I had to clean house beforehand, got tired, was pooped out after, but they want to meet again and another friend wants to come too.

Amazing how having just two people over to your house for 3 hours can be so exhausting, but glad I went through with it. They seemed to enjoy it.

Anyone who cares more that your house is clean than the pleasure of your company isn't worth it. Dust is very patient - it will always wait.

We know that, but it's still nice not to invite someone to drink tea in a tip, which I feel my house rapidly becomes from one weekend to the next. 🙄

Great therapy! Perhaps put a time limit on it to 2 hours? Forget about the cleaning!!!!

It is perplexing how something pleasurable can become so tiring 😕

I was going to write a post relating to this & my recent experiences, but totally ran out of spoons!!! I will have a rest & think abou writing the post! 😴
