I had a doll that looked like that called Judith. It is a good drawing. Another creative member!

Such talent

Brilliant study. Keep drawing it's good for mind and body!🤗

Wow! She's beautiful, and peaceful and serene!

My Pred looks more like a decapaciated monster who's still alive and has13 moving arms and legs; covered in green, suffocating slime.

If we went to therapy they would probably say, think of pred as our beautiful graceful friend, that we can't live without....as if!.......I'm somewhere in between.....a monster on bad days with pred, it's my friend on better days, how fickle am I.....

That’s me! Fattest I have ever been, hair wild and all I want to do is lie down. Great drawing, well done.

Hello SusyTe. Snap! I am also biggest I've ever been and I love to lie down too. My hair has gone a bit scraggy though, don't mention the thin patches. The joys eh?

Hi Holly. I can’t quite believe how I look now - I try to avoid people I haven’t seen for ages. My hair got so bad I now have a hairpiece. I know some would say stop the vanity - but it does get me down. The joys of Pred ..... as you say.

Yes I'm going away with friends I've known for years, (since college days in the 70s) we haven't seen each other since our last jaunt a year ago because we stay quite far apart. Anyway I'm dreading this because ....yes vanity. Looking forward to seeing them of course but feel that I should forewarn them haha

I would not say stop the vanity I also like to look the best I can my hair has suffered terribly with this condition I'm looking for a hair piece as well plus having moon face doesn't help my weight has not really suffered but I'm fighting back with the letting me get depressed which it does sitting in the chair has helped me experiment with make up I enjoyed that I'm going to try Aqua see if that helps my painful body, next week and just keep hoping it eases and eventually goes into remission so cheer up we are in this together

I do tend to forewarn people that I am on steroids and look different. They still tend to look a bit shocked. People just seem to assume you are being a piglet and need to cut your food intake or exercise more. It is difficult for people to understand. I hope you have a super time with your friends, Holly.

What is the doctor really trying to sell? I notice that he did not even write the article. I think Imam becoming sceptical in my old age.

What he is saying is they MAY start in the gut - and I agree the evidence is mounting. But it may be the other way round

There is not yet any proof nor any evidence as to WHAT requires to be done - and I know enough people who work very hard on their gut microbiome who still have PMR or other a/i disease. There is not yet a better option for management of PMR than pred. You can do all sorts of things to SUPPORT that - but they don't replace pred entirely.

I have a very open mind here - but there needs to be a lot more work.

Great drawing and good representation of me with my moon face and extra weight around chest and belly- turn her over and there is a fat pad at the base of neck also and very thick neck - wish I could draw - or would be so different to my photo a year ago xx

When I told friends that I was on steroids they thought I would end up looking like a sportsman. They were right - I now look like a darts player.
