You can use the "Find People Near Me" function. If you click on your icon in the upper right hand corner, a drop down list will appear. Find people near me is an option.

I periodically look at it. Up until very recently the closest member was hundreds of miles from me. Last week I checked again when telling someone else about the 'find people' option and lo-and-behold a new member popped up that lives -- get this -- 23 miles from me!!! And since she's joined, she's been an active contributor. Imagine my surprise, living in the heart of the USA and being on a UK forum to find someone that lives so close. I'm tickled pink and we've talked about meeting someday for coffee, lunch, etc. Miracles never cease to happen.

I have the same issue. Everyone is either in the US or Ontario, hundreds or thousands of miles away from my spot on the East coast. We need more patients to know about and sign up to this forum!
