Does anyone have the problem of very large veins in lower arms and especially in hands. I sa
Question once again.: Does anyone have the problem... - PMRGCAuk
Question once again.
I think it’s an age thing. Have you seen Madonna’s?
Symptom free, just bigger?
Not nice though when you'e onot a date and they bring it up. Forget the B...h.
Yes, I have that too. I think it’s from Pred. I want to write a manual to give each date before we meet. That would save time, energy and patience! I find I only have strength for breakfast and lunch dates. I eat an early dinner, pj’s and bed. It takes such effort to be “on”! Rather pet my dog!
One of the first things I noticed once I was nicely established on pred was the alarming veins in my arms. I don't think they signify anything, but I've wondered why this happened. Looking at my hands they have large veins too, larger than they used to be, I guess.
It must be a personal thing - the veins on the back of my hands are a bit more prominent but no more than I would expect with aging and the arm ones are absolutely no different.
Unless your date was a vampire I think I would agree with SJ. Manners!!!!!!!
Yes, I developed prominent veins along my left arm, they do seem bigger now in both hands too. Prednisone causing thin skin so they look more obvious?
Haven't noticed any difference in my arms but my hands look as if I'm wearing skin tone gloves that are about 3 sizes too big 😐 Ah well something else to blame on pred.
I have OA in my hands and if I get pain and swelling my veins pop up also. Looks horrible, it does go down though 😀
