Potassium Update

Hi

Received the result of my second blood test and was told that potassium level is normal. Thanks for the reassurance given on what may have caused the initial high reading.

That's great. It makes you wonder how many people have to be left in suspense!!

What worries me more is how many GPs panic! Drop a sample tube on the floor by accident and don't note it - result could be anything!

Good news Mitziecat!! My rheumatologist had me get a bottle of sodium polystyrene sulfonate to get number down and my GP told me not to take it (side effects)until I had blood test redone...good advice. Good information is always helpful
