Not necessarily PMR/GCA related, but definitely prompted by hours of feeling unwell and contemplating the future...

So sorry that you have felt so unwell. Life is a continual metamorphosis, I feel. Just as you learnt so many lessons and positives as you've gone along the previous stages, then I feel you will during the next stages. We don't know exactly how many more but all can be used to help us to be more understanding, more tolerant of others who appear well but aren't , more understanding of grief and loss( as previously mentioned in a post) etc etc...There can always be a silver lining - may just take a bit longer to find and process.

You are right.... there is ALWYS a silver lining.

I bought some beautiful, poppy red tulips over the weekend and have been giving them my energy and attention. ; )

You go girl! Post a picture...we all need more beauty in our lives! I saw beauty in my grandchildren, 3 year old Jonah and 18 month old Juliette. Then I saw the beauty of going to sleep at 6:30 pm and waking at 3:00 am waiting for 5:00 am Pred!

Maybe - hopefully - a couple of additional stages: when PMR/GCA burns out, you’ll break through the cocoon of ill-health and become a butterfly again.

Not what you're looking for?
