Question : How do you post a photo on here of... - PMRGCAuk
Question
I think if you go to your profile at the bottom of page than put your finger ( or click on it) the little round face it will pop up asking you if you want to change it you should be able to follow directions from there not sure if you have an iPad or android
I wanted to post one but it doesn't support mobile or tablet photos I read.
We all look the same, slightly podgey, thinning hair, chubby cheeks and a buffalo hump - oh I forgot to mention the beard and moustache.
Except me of course, I am just beautiful, only wish I could post a photo. 😉
How are your legs today, we worried about you.
Good luck with your support group!
Are you OK? I just thought it would be nice to haverify a photo with who we were sharing with. I had all the moon face. Buffalo hump. Didn't recognise it till I saw myself in a photo, then said who the he'll is that. ME. It hurt. Buthe as the steroids come down your body recovers. Then your mind takes over with time. Xx
Yes, you are beautiful inside and out! You give support and encouragement to all fellow sufferers. Had a rough day yesterday after Thanksgiving celebration. Took a short walk with my sister and dog and saw the movie Lady Bird. Now I’m up for the day at 3:00 a.m.!
Thank you Sandie back at you. Sorry you had a rough day after thanksgiving. Even when we love them families are stressful en masse . Sounds like you and your sister came up with a pleasant remedy. You always sound like you have a nice life. And here you are, eyes glittering in the dark again! I have bought a room infuser. I put a few drops of lemon and lavender essential oils in, switch on and let it mist away. It seems to improve the air, kill the cooking smells and relax me, along with my fairy lights and candles at this time of year.
I also bought some plug in smell! My housekeeper had one so I followed suit. I do like scented candles, lotions and oils but I have to be reminded to use them. Thanks for the reminder!
I’m hoping to feel better so I can call the men who have been writing to me on the dating site! I’ve been keeping it down to 2 dates per week. Very slow for me since I don’t have the energy. I figure my clock is running out so I need to pick up the pace! PMR really stands in my way!
I just tried again and it did it! I mean downloaded a photo. Fancy that!
I cant see you; come on try again x
All I can see Is enmouras boobs in that photo. Please don't excite the olderpeople on this site. Ha ha x
I mean a moon face a buffalo hump, you don't look overweight. In fact as they say in Yorkshire " you look grand lass".
I had it all. I will send you some photos of it. I didn't have a collar bone no neck and no waist. So last year was hell. X
We all look grand but underneath we are not. Pred takes over our body. We try and get up and on abs get on with life. X
Long may you survive and thrive and be happy! Off to bed now. Just spent another fortune on-line on stuff for Christmas. Then I get embarrassed on the day because it's all too much.. night night sleep tight, no dramas!
Sorry - PMRpro doesn't do photos!!! I did once manage to get a photo onto the NE forum but they changed the server and lost it!!!
Hi morrison
Just be aware unless you lock your post pictures or anything else you post can be excessed by anyone on the World Wide Web.
Some this doesn't worry so it depends on how you feel about this
Rose
Thank you for asking this question. I have finally managed to post a photo on my IPad by going to my profile and editing the smiley face! I admit it's a pre pred picture but I look much the same again on 7mg after ten months. Struggling to go much further like Sheffieldjane. Sadly no beautiful babies to share.
Take care, Chrissie
Just managed to do mine. I couldn't do it from my tablet before but now I can. Not the most recent picture but imagine chipmonk cheeks and you get the idea
After reading your post about photos, I also did not know how to do this so I followed MaryA's instructions. As you can see, I was successful although this is a pre PMR picture which I hope to be back to soon.
Regards, Pat
Now see what you've done morrison and isn't everyone just as lovely as they sound?
I have a picture of you in my head PMRPro. I wonder if I am far off the mark?
And there is DorsetLady demonstrating that cheekbones do come back when you are off Pred.
Hi,
I’ve always had chubby cheeks....but you definitely don’t want to see during Pred days.....🤨😕..the Daily Mail had a nice piccie though....despite the photographer’s best efforts.
Glad I started this photo thing. So good to put a face to the people that are there for you. After all looks are immertiable, it is the person inside that counts. So come on PMR PRO.
I can't give you what I don't have. Sorry!
I did look on my computer yesterday - I used to have photos on my desktop but there was a problem a bit back and they disappeared into thin air! I'm in Malta on holiday at present so no access to anything else and to be honest - I have no idea where any might be.
My son did say that you know that once your photo is out there it will always be out there . I've deactivated my Facebook Account. My daughter doesn't want the children's images on there anymore, so I thought I'd finish with it, it's just a time gobbler. So I can understand people wanting to remain anonymous and I do respect that and I love seeing what people look like too.
Often they are our problems. Big as they are now. 😉
Where about in Hertfordshire are you? I wonder if coming to the London Group would be too far? Or there's a meet up group at Cockfosters in Barnet......Otherwise I do hope someone in your vicinity can start up even a meet up group. If you want more info on the London Group do ask me, as I run it.....
Anne
In Hemel Hempstead. Barnet isn't to far. But there must be people nearer too that have PMR
Try posting a new thread entitled "calling Hertfordshire members"
You don't have to start with an official meeting. Maybe your hospital rheumatology clinic would put up a notice, or the GPs. Or a chemist. Just ask around that sort of place.
The Chertsey group has people come from all over the place, S Wales, Southhampton. You need a number of people in a given location to tip the scales so a group with speakers and so on works but you can always have a coffee group in the local cafe.
Good idea. X
