What is the actual dose of your four tablets? Usually we are recommended to take between 1000-2000 IU per day, generally not more than 4000. But your dose should be related to whether you are deficient or not. Most of us are a bit deficient. Consider adding some very high fiber foods to your diet, not medication, to deal with the problem.

Hi,

Drink plenty of fluids, water is best. I find either grapes or dates usually work for me if I have too many co-codamol - which has the same effect!

Yes water and fresh figs for me....co-codamol had it's downsides. Although I found when I had builders in that as soon as I couldn't use loo I was desperate. Thought about paying then to visit once in a while to help me along. 😊

Yes that's always the way. As soon as you can't have something, you really, really, really want it!

A breakfast of black coffee, oatmeal with raisins and an apple cut into it, and a 1/2 cup serving of yogurt and fruit as a snack at some point in the day seems to keep me on the regular. Staying hydrated is crucial, so sipping water all day also helps.

I eat steel oats,1/4 cup wheat bran, cinnamon, and apple cut up. The wheat bran is not very tasty so add something to flavor it. Just mix them all together. Some jam would be good in it. I count carbs so use cinnamon.
