Yes for a time now under pressure to start reducing down from 12. However this time I am using the slow method you highlighted for me also have assurance that I will not be forced to reduce if I feel unwell and symptoms get worse. Doc concerned about my osteoporosis.

There's more than one way to skin a cat as they say!

Getting you to reduce pred too fast and letting the PMR flare will make you immobile - and immobility is the biggest risk factor for osteoporosis...

Many thanks tinwoman - we were all Newbies at one time or another! :-)

this forum does offer comfort to us as we wander the maze of PMR. Many nights, like this one, I find myself awake at 2:30am, and my brain insists it's time to wake and read. I have read the archives, more than once, and feel pretty confident that I understand this disorder much better than many of the docs who are advising "newbies".

Do hang out on the forum and learn how to take control of your own health management. Show up and participate!

Regards, Jerri
