Hi I been to my doc today after a long wait he increased my amotripdiline go back in 2 months I told him everything about the pain I feel he saidid my bloops was slightly raised and is normal for my age so it's the meds physio and he told me to go back to work I don't think he takes pmr serious

That is an old-fashioned attitude. It is now acknowledged that the reason many older patients have higher ESR and CRP is because there is inflammation present - so anything above an ESR of 20 is raised, whatever your age, same for CRP and its normal range.

Find another doctor who treats the patient.
