Went to Orthopeadic for back and legs, had a series of x-rays and a Doppler on legs turns out I am loaded with arthritis in both hips and they found an aorta aneurysm so now back to heart doctor. The pinched nerve is still there so we will sort it all out later after heart doctor.
Eyes getting very blurry so he is next on the list.

Seems to be quite a few things you are facing but you and medical staff appear , from your post, to have a handle on it. And so the journey continues....All the very best with your various appointments and tests and keep us informed how you get on. Onwards and upwards..... very best wishes Jackie x
My husband was set off on the "65-year old check pathway" last autumn. Here that includes a PSA blood test and a trip to dermatology to check for nasty moles etc. The PSA was raised so that resulted in a biopsy and a mole looked dodgy - another biopsy (in the end done on consecutive days). A period of very low BP resulted in him being sent for a Holter (24 hour) monitor for ECG and BP - which showed he is in pretty well permanent atrial fibrillation and confirmed his BP is LOW. He had a disastrously low vit D level (7) which has been sorted - but given his diet that possibly means his bone density is pretty awful. But he is refusing to ask the GP in case they find anything else wrong...
I know how he feels you just get to the point of not wanting to tell them anything because they keep finding more wrong. Hopefully you can get him to take some supplments Vit D and that might help.
He was immediately handed a script for a high dose supplement by the GP. 25,000 IU per week for 4 months - which she says they feel here works better than higher doses for shorter. I don't think she had ever seen such a low level! It was all my fault really - it was me prodded the GP to check on him! Still waiting for the prostate biopsy result. The dermatology one was fine.
Oh - and I forgot. We get an annual blood check - where his liver function tests were raised last autumn. So he's been on the wagon since then.
