What were you given the prednisone for? I don't believe you can flush it out, but it does leave over time. Typically you decrease steroids not just stop taking them. It sounds like you need to call the doctor and check on both how you're feeling and what to do about the dosage

Hi

As TooSore has asked, what have you been put on Prednisolone for? It's a very high dose but it was a one off treatment? You really need to speak to who ever prescribed them for you.

Best Wishes

It is probably almost all out of your system already as it has quite a short half life.

But what were given it for? I assume you just found this forum looking for people who take pred? The last thing we want is to "flush it out", it is the only thing that gives us a decent quality of life! And for people with GCA (giant cell arteritis) it saved their sight. It saves lives in asthma too. It isn't all bad.
