I started on 10 mg in July and am now down to 4mg. I have been gradually reducing 1 mg per month but am in a bit of pain in my right shoulder and upper legs. Apart from Xmas break I have been back belly dancing and line dancing. I have gone gluten free which I think has helped me reduce my prednisone .
I love reading all your posts and I think you are all amazing. I will keep you informed of my progress xx. I am in red hat with my best friend.

I am feeling wonderful. I am now on 2 mg of Prednisone and back dancing 3 times a week. I am in no pain and also ride my bicycle most days to go shopping.
I have been on gluten free diet for 6 months now and feel it has made me feel so much better. I also purchased the book titled "The Immune System Recovery Plan written by Susan Blum, M.D.
I try to follow her advice and am now taking selenium. Fish oil, zinc and vitamin C.
Thank you very much for enquiringly about my health.
Sending healing love to all who are still suffering from pain associated with Polymyalgia.
I just hope I don't get it back once I wean myself off the Prednisone.
