A happy and pain free Christmas to all of you. Last weekend I had an op to clear a chronic sinus infection which I hope will bring down my CRP. Most recent test shows it at 50 which is a 33% reduction from 75 so it's going the right way. So far no flare symptoms.

would be interested to know what symptoms you had. I have constant sinus problems but my GP said it is not an infection. I hope you have a Happy Christmas

Over a year ago, I had extreme pain just above my top teeth on one side and thought at first it could be toothache but the dentist ruled that out. It got so bad that I had to go to the out of hours surgery. Antibiotics followed but I had colds and flu on top of it and eventually found my nose almost permanently blocked. A chronic infection was diagnosed. So two weeks ago, the surgeon cleared it out under anaesthetic and so far so good. I can breathe normally. I hope you don't have an infection, but if you are worried get a second opinion, it won't do to let it become chronic. Have a very happy new year.

Good that you haven't had a flare! And that your CRP has come down. Some good news at last!!
