I can't find any interactions for dietary turmeric - but there are warnings about using the supplement capsules alongside antidepressants which Valium is of course.

What other medications do you take?

I can't thank you enough, you have answered my question and saved me from a bad side effect.You are right, valium is of course a form of anti-depressant.You have put me at ease now and have actually lowered my blood pressure a little.Again, thank you and all the best Margaret

I stopped beta blockers ACE after 12 years now valium helps a little but not below 200/89.It's gone as high as 250/177 I'm trying Olive leaf now, I'm 76 Margaret

Margaret - you MUST have that level of BP treated properly. It is dangerous, a stroke waiting to happen. Please see a doctor very soon and accept treatment.

Why did you stop ACE inhibitors? If you stopped them - why aren't you on something else? I can't take ACE inhibitors but there are plenty of other drugs to use.
