Stress leads to us tensing our muscles, tense back muscles easily go into spasm, and can pinch nerves, especially the sciatic nerve.
This site drives me up the wall - it is so user-unfriendly - can't say today has been any worse than usual though!

Kingharold, I am in touch with a couple of people who have found that Bowen therapy has proved very successful for sciatica. I am a sufferer from time to time and woudn't hesitate to give Bowen a try if it returns.
I must be one of the lucky ones as I haven't had any problems with HealthUnlocked - famous last words.......!
Are you sure it is sciatica? I was being treated for sciatica until I had an MRI that showed a large tear in the hip muscle, thanks to Prednisone probably and that it probably wouldn't heal until I get off the Pred or at least lower. The symptoms are very similar. I'm on 20 of Pred a day.
