Has anyone experience of using these- I seem to be hearing conflicting things with some saying it is good for you but others saying be careful if you have adrenal conditions when using? Anyone with any thoughts?

I suppose it depends what you call "adrenal conditions" - I imagine they mean Addisons disease. It isn't mentioned here though:

However - the problem appears to be if you have anything that impairs sweating or affects blood pressure in response to heat. I don't know about you - but I did find PMR or pred (don't know which) made me very intolerant of heat. Since I used to find the steam room/sauna at the gym very comforting when I had PMR without pred I can only assume it was the pred.

Thank you PMR pro- I too find it comforting to sit in the sauna after a light workout- seems ok to be honest so I guess I will carry on if no adverse effects, thank you again.

Well I have been using a steam room and sauna for the past 5 months with no ill effects, quite the reverse makes me feel better. PS had PMR for 4 years.
