Well, I finally got to a Nordic Walking information session.  Bought the poles - told myself it would be a great birthday present for hubby to give me.  It was a lot of fun, much more fun than I expected to to be.  Although I may still just sneak out after dark to practice for the time being.

Working way down to 4 mg pred, and physio visits once a fortnight, down from twice a week much of the winter.  😎

Heron, I loved my Nordic walking course and, like you, found it great fun, as well as helping to restore my balance to normal after years of PMR/GCA and steroids.  Another lady on the course who had been on steroids had also developed steroid-induced bone thinning but said that her bone density showed an improvement after a period of Nordic walking.
