Advice please !

Am on 7mg per day for PMR and all going well but now on holiday in Corfu and had violent vomiting all throu last night and this morning so was unable to take preds today. What do you advise please. Should I take a small dose now (early evening) or just wait and take 7mg as usual tomorrow morning.

If you feel well enough take maybe half your dose which should avoid stiffness tomorrow morning. Then go back to normal tomorrow.

What a shame - not the way to spend a holiday - and make sure you drink plenty since I imagine it is fairly warm isn't it? Don't get dehydrated or you'll feel even worse.

Many thanks for your speedy reply. Will do as you suggest. You're right - not the best way to spend time on holiday - in the bathroom all night and half the next day !! Hopefully it's over now. It is very hot but am drinking lots of water. Thanks once again . Don't know what I would do without you all. X

Yes I had it coming out both ends, this is usual for me. I was also on vacation, Costa Rica! I never could understand why every once in awhile I would suffer from throwing up, now I know, PMR!!!
