Just an update....last week wasp sting, bad reaction, felt stressed. Now recovered from that. Took photos of swelling to show Dr next time I see him. Meanwhile Piraton in bag!

Pred situation - now on 1/2 mg per day. This week starting to miss an odd day to see if ok. Have not had any Pmr pains so far....... Fingers crossed I won't get a relapse and will be ok. Decided I'll take paracetamol if niggles start to see if I can get off the pred.

Will let you all know how I get on.

Slowly, slowly - don't rush this stage. This is such a low dose it is not worth worrying about - but you wouldn't be the first person who was fine on 1/2mg a day but zero led to a return of symptoms.

But wishing you all the best - hope it'll be party time soon!
