Reduced prednisolone from 11 to 10mg. Severe foot numbness after 2 weeks. Is this unusual?

Not something I have ever heard anyone complain about in terms of reducing pred. Something to ask the doctor I think.

I have numbness in both feet. Rheumatologist said it was neuropathy due to taking high doses of Pred. It appears it can't be reversed. I have GCA and it started when I reached 20 mg (reduced from 60 mg).

Dubliner1 - I have small numb patches on both feet which suddenly happened when I was reducing from 40 to 35mg prednisolone. I most notice the numbness in bed and when sitting down, not when up and about. I think hwigston's rheumatologist is right and it is a pred induced neuropathy.
