HI Apworton,
Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your legs.
Is it both legs?
Have you gone to doctor about this?
Might be a form of vascullitis, which , actually , TA is as well.

Hello apworton
I have experienced something similar to what you have described recently and it was diagnosed as varicose eczema and blamed on a new blood pressure pill. The rash has faded and the skin affected is now slightly tanned-looking, which is what my GP expected to happen in the case of varicose eczema. I've been off steroids for over 18 months since PMR/GCA went into remission. However, as Dorothy has said, it could be linked to vasculitis, so best to get it checked out with the GP.
