Protein in urine

Hi I’ve known and been treated for PKD since aged 16. Under a consultant but been told this morning that I’ve a trace of the dreaded protein in my urine😲he suggested a mild statin, otherwise all is good.

Anyone else experienced this? What advice were you given?
