Ultrasound and blood test ok. Hurts when bum bone is pressed. Constant pain. Not sure what it is.

Pain in left side (my left) groin and in bum bone. Had it two years. Constant dull ache with flair ups that goes into my hip. Any idea?

Ask your GP to check your iliopsoas/psoas muscle. It could very well be locked. I know from experience. Mine is so bad that when it seizes, it actually pulls my left hip backwards. Good luck and keep us posted. PS: If you have adhesions, they won't be revealed by ANY type of diagnostic imaging, so try not to let them keep sending you for x-rays, CT's, or ultrasound. Best wishes and hoping you can get this resolved.

Sounds like it could be piriformis syndrome.
My symptoms began just like yours but worsened and spread eventually to become mainly lower back pain from the sacrum. I have had an injection for pyriformis syndrome which didn't help.
I did find help from a chiropractor and eventually from pilates and posture- awareness.
The conventional NHS route has been pretty useless, despite MRIs,xrays,physio( which was worse than useless) and so on, apart from pain management.
But your sort of pain is definitely associated with low back problems. I could have prevented my back getting so bad if I had had the right care earlier on.
What would you recommend I do next? I need to get in to the doctors but they have pretty much given up on me. Ineed some ammunition! I really need them to explore other avenues but I feel they wont.
God you sound like me, I've been in chronic pain for just over two years . Mine is my lower right 'corner' and I get a nasty shooting pain up through my bum bone. I also have a bulging disc in my spine so my pains just fight against each other all the time.
I am convinced its my appendix with some sort of adhesions or something because I also get a horrible tugging feeling on top of the pain. The nhs have been so slow and every time I mention appendix they say no it can't be that.
I am due tomorrow to have a camera into my bladder to cross it off the list but am sick to death of being in this depressing pain 
Hope all goes well. I am sick of this pain too. It is really depressing. I plan to get into the doctors again soon when I can as getting an appointment is a nightmare!
Could be short pelvic floor syndrome. I have this (linked to my EDS hypermobility disorder) and am receiving Botox to pelvic floor to treat it.
