My pelvic physio said I could buy a 'wand' to help me to release my internal trigger points myself. Does anyone know where I could buy one?

You have my sympathy ..I wish I could take it away for you .also..

.do they not know have any idea what is causing this problem ? ..it is very complicated our insides (women)....

I am a young 78 and having problems so have some understanding of your discomforts .

.I now know after lots of consultants and searching (google) what my problem is ...

.I wish you luck in your pursuit ...but get another opinion !! do not give up it is very depressing to feel unwell all the time .....

Kind Wishes

You can go to the website drugstore.com and type in crystal wand. I have found this has the best price.

Thank you both for your answers. I will go the website you recommend, my physio has said she knows of a 'wand' but keeps forgetting to find the info that she has at home. I would have preferred to have one recommended medically but cannot wait forever! I have been diagnosed with vulvodynia and features of pudendal neuropathy by Dr De Mello in Manchester after four years of groin/pelvic pain for which I am taking the maximum dosage of Pregablin and slow release tramadol (I had gastric side affects from the other tramadol). I have been having internal pelvic physio for several months now and I have only recently felt the benefits of this. At the end of this treatment I will have a course of vaginal nerve block injections. The physio says she has never known these injections to worsen a condition, they have either helped or have had no affect at all. After being dismissed as a 'mystery' by orthopaedic consultants/GPs etc. I am so grateful to this website for providing the information which enabled me to get a diagnosis at last. I know I will never be 'cured' and will take medication forever but it makes such a difference for someone to understand and acknowledge the pain that I have. I hope you are both coping with your conditions.

hi! i am also in pelvic floor PT and my therapist also recommended the wand. you can buy it online from this company:

cmtmedical.com/

go to "patients", then "online store", then "dilators and pelvic pain". they have the wand (they call it the pelvic floor massage tool and offer two sizes), which my therapist recommended. she also recommended that i get a set of dilators, but she said if you can only get one thing, the wand is the thing to get. after we get our next paycheck, i will be getting the wand, a set of dilators, and one of the cryo-thermal dilators so that i can use either heat or cold internally. i am so relieved these products exist. i hope this helps!

Doctors don’t know the cause of most forms of vulvodynia. And there is no evidence that infections..

Love and Healing to you ..
