I've never heard of this gadget, but don't think it would be for me, it just seems another piece of equipment to keep sterile and safe with.

I personally would continue with the Neil Med Sinus Rinse, as it is safe and effective, so long as you sterilise it as instructed. Before thinking of using this gadget I would ask about it at your son's next appointment with his specialist.

Never heard of this but we have had the Otovent recommended by ENT and audiology consultants for drying any build up in the ear. It’s small, simple and about £8.50 otovent.co.uk. It’s basically a little balloon you blow up with your nose! I’ve not got one yet as despite build up my daughters hearing is perfect currently. We use Neilmed daily and prescribed Avamys nasal spray if the nose is getting particularly blocked/runny and it’s causing an inconvenience.
