Just got my lab results today. My ALP climbed from 138 to 145 in six months. All of my other functions were normal. I see my hepatoligist on 9/16. I hope the Ursodial continues to work for me.

I hope your appointment goes well. The numbers are indicators. Be sure to talk with your doc about have you are feeling and any physiological indications. I was diagnosed with PBC in 2016. The numbers go up and go down. They are indicators. My advice is to focus on how you feel and quality of life. All that said, talk to your doc!! Stay strong.

Thanks JDN. I was also diagnosed in 2016. I feel good with the exception of gaining weight from taking Ursodial. I’m still very blessed. I wish all the best to you.

I did not realize the Urso causes weight gain?

Don’t be concerned with small fluctuations- watch the trends. If it continues to rise then you may need to look at changing your treatment plan.
