Could I ask, do you go to the Freeman, who is your consultant, I understand if you don't want to answer.

Hi. No I do not go to the Freeman never even heard of it.
I was diagnosed in 2005 by Dr, Clague at Nobles Isle of Man hospital and have not been seen since except by my GP who admits he knows little about the illness.
I have waited 16 months for an appointment with Dr. Peshims clinic, again at Nobles Hospital. I do not hold out much hope of actually seeing Him, but I believe his second in command is very nice. So fingers crossed.
Hi,
I go to the Freeman. I assume you mean the one in Newcastle. I don't know if there is another one elsewhere. I was diagnosed in 2003 and have been attending the clinic there regulary since. Professor David Jones heads an excellent team at the Freeman. He is renowned for his work in this field and runs the largest autoimmune liver disease clinical service in the UK. He also leads the UK PBC Consortium, which brings together all centres in the UK.
I initially saw Professor Jones when I was first diagnosed and have seen him a few times since, but I am usually seen by one of his excellent team now. You will be in good hands!
